Tecnomar Velvet 83 — Italian Performance with Contemporary Style
The Tecnomar Velvet 83 is a striking 26.8-metre (87.9 ft) motor yacht designed for guests who appreciate the combination of high performance, contemporary Italian styling and generous outdoor living. Her sleek profile and powerful presence reflect Tecnomar’s performance-focused heritage, while expansive exterior decks and inviting social spaces make her equally suited to relaxed days cruising through the Greek islands.
Following a comprehensive refit in 2026, the yacht was extensively updated with new upholstery, teak decking, galley, air-conditioning, navigation electronics, generator and hull antifouling. The result is a refreshed yacht that retains her sporty character while providing the comfort and amenities expected for a sophisticated Mediterranean charter.
Outdoor living is at the heart of the Tecnomar Velvet 83. The spacious aft deck features a large sunbathing area alongside an al fresco dining space, creating an excellent setting for leisurely breakfasts, long lunches and sunset drinks overlooking the sea. The yacht also features dedicated bow, sun deck and swimming-platform areas, giving guests several different spaces to relax throughout the day.
Inside, the contemporary interior offers an elegant and comfortable atmosphere with thoughtfully arranged living spaces designed to balance privacy with sociability. Entertainment and comfort amenities include satellite TV, indoor and outdoor Crestron audio, Wi-Fi, full air-conditioning and a home cinema system.
For overnight charters, the yacht accommodates up to eight guests in four ensuite cabins, comprising one Master cabin, one VIP cabin and two Twin cabins. A professional crew of four is on board to take care of guests throughout the charter. She also welcomes up to eight passengers for day trips.
Performance is one of the yacht’s defining qualities. Powered by twin 2,000 HP MTU engines, she cruises comfortably at 32 knots and can reach a top speed of 40 knots, making her particularly appealing for guests who want to cover more of the Greek islands while enjoying the excitement of a true performance yacht.
For time on the water, snorkeling equipment is included, while a Seabob can be arranged for an additional rental fee on longer charters. Daily charters can also add a SUP on request. The yacht is additionally equipped with a Zar Mini Rib tender for convenient transfers and exploring secluded bays.
With her 40-knot performance, extensive 2026 refit, four ensuite cabins and generous open-air spaces, the Tecnomar Velvet 83 offers an exciting combination of speed and comfort — an excellent choice for guests looking to experience the Mediterranean with a distinctly sporty Italian character.
