This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by Floatspace in the United States.

Personal information we collect

We collect certain personal information from Users in a variety of ways in connection with activities, services, features and/or resources that we make available on our Site. Such categories of personal information may include a User’s: first name, last name, email address, and phone number when he/she uses our Site to make a boat reservation or to list their boat on our Site.

We collect personal information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such personal information to us. Users can always refuse to provide their personal information, however, without certain personal information, Floatspace may not be able to provide Users with all the services requested. Users may also visit our Site anonymously.

Device data

When Users interact with our Site, we collect certain non-personal information about the User’s computer or mobile device, such as the: browser name, manufacturer and model, operating system, Internet service providers utilized, and other similar information.

Boat data

If a User lists their boat on our Site, we collect information that the User provides in relation to their boat such as: boat listing details, a boat website (url) where we can see / learn more about the User’s boat, its availability dates, reviews, and uploaded trip photos.

Trip data

We collect transactional information related to the trips you have booked and take through the services on our Site, including the date and time of your booking, amounts charged, and other related trip details.

Payment data

We collect a User’s digital payment details, bank account or payment card numbers, and transaction information in connection with a potential or actual transaction, which may be processed and stored by one or more third party payment service providers or digital payments companies.

Identity verification data

We may collect identity verification information such as images of your government issued ID or other forms of identification information.

Background check information

If a User lists their boat on our Site, the public listing page will always include some basic information about their boat, such as the boat’s name, the maximum number of guests permitted on the boat, its calendar availability, and the city where the boat is located.

Do Not Track

Users can set their preferences and enable or disable “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals by visiting the preferences or settings page of their web browser. Like many other websites and online services, we currently do not respond to or alter our practices when we receive DNT signals.
