SACS 44 “Bolero III” — Sporty Mediterranean Day Cruising
The SACS 44 “Bolero III” is a sleek and powerful 12-metre luxury RIB designed for stylish, fast and comfortable days around Ibiza and Formentera. Combining the sporty character of a high-performance RIB with generous lounging and social areas, she is an excellent choice for groups looking to spend a full day swimming, sunbathing and exploring the coastline.
With a 3.7-metre beam and capacity for up to 12 guests plus the skipper, Bolero III provides plenty of space to move around and relax. Her exterior layout features large sunbeds at both the bow and stern, a comfortable exterior seating and dining area, and a sunshade that creates a sheltered space for relaxing during the hottest part of the day. A Bluetooth music connection allows guests to enjoy their own soundtrack while cruising or anchored in a secluded bay.
The boat has an impressive open-deck layout, with expansive sunbathing areas and a broad stern platform providing convenient access to the water. At the stern, the sociable seating arrangement can be transformed into a comfortable space for dining, drinks or simply relaxing with uninterrupted views across the Mediterranean.
Performance is another highlight. Bolero III cruises at approximately 30 knots, making her ideal for covering the distance between Ibiza and Formentera while still leaving plenty of time to enjoy the day's destinations. Fuel consumption is listed at approximately 110 litres per hour, with the brochure estimating around 165 litres for a typical day involving approximately 1.5 hours of cruising.
Despite her sporty exterior, Bolero III also provides useful onboard comforts. The photographs show an exterior dining area, wet bar/sink, as well as a private interior space with a double berth and bathroom—providing additional convenience during a full day on the water.
The charter includes a professional captain, insurance, towels, complimentary drinks, snacks and snorkelling equipment. The drinks package includes water, ice, soft drinks, beer, white wine, rosé and cava.
With her combination of 30-knot cruising performance, spacious bow and stern sunbeds, shaded social areas and easy access to the sea, the SACS 44 “Bolero III” is particularly well suited to memorable day trips between Ibiza and Formentera—whether the plan is discovering turquoise coves, enjoying lunch by the water or simply spending the afternoon relaxing under the Mediterranean sun.
