De Antonio 42 — Where Design & Performance Blend in Perfect Harmony
The De Antonio 42 is a striking 12.64-metre performance yacht that combines contemporary styling, intelligent design and exhilarating cruising capabilities. Created around an open walk-around deck layout, she offers exceptional freedom of movement and generous outdoor spaces for relaxing, dining and socialising. With capacity for 9 guests, or up to 10 at the owner's discretion, and a professional crew member, she is particularly well suited to private day charters, island hopping and stylish coastal adventures.
A defining feature of the De Antonio 42 is the way her deck has been designed to maximise every available space. Large sunbathing areas at the bow and stern provide plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy the Mediterranean sunshine, while the convertible central lounge creates a versatile social area where guests can gather comfortably throughout the day. The walk-around configuration allows easy movement between each area, giving the yacht a spacious and open atmosphere.
The central cockpit is designed as the social heart of the yacht. Comfortable seating and tables provide an inviting setting for drinks, lunch or conversation, while the exterior kitchen and wet bar make it easy to prepare and serve refreshments without interrupting the experience on deck. A large T-top provides shade over the main seating and helm area, creating a comfortable retreat during the warmest hours of the day.
At the bow, a generous lounge and sunbed offer a more private place to unwind while enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding coastline. At the stern, another expansive sunbathing area leads naturally toward the large bathing platform. As shown throughout the brochure, this arrangement creates several distinct relaxation zones, allowing guests to enjoy their own space while remaining connected to the rest of the group.
The generous stern platform also makes access to the sea particularly easy. Guests can step directly into the water using the swim ladder, enjoy a refreshing swim or spend time snorkeling before returning to the spacious deck. This strong connection between the yacht and the water makes the De Antonio 42 particularly attractive for days spent exploring secluded beaches and crystal-clear bays.
Performance is another major part of her character. Powered by two 300 HP engines, the De Antonio 42 cruises at approximately 28 knots and reaches a listed top speed of 45 knots in the specifications. This combination of speed and comfort makes it possible to cover significant distances during a day charter, giving guests the freedom to explore multiple destinations without sacrificing valuable time at anchor.
Onboard equipment has been selected to complement her premium day-yacht character. Amenities include a full teak deck, T-top, premium upholstery, Bluetooth audio system, indoor and outdoor speakers, wet bar and cockpit refrigerator. These features create a comfortable and sociable environment whether the yacht is underway or anchored for a leisurely afternoon.
For guests who want to enjoy the water, snorkeling equipment is included, while a Seabob and SUP can be arranged for an additional fee upon request. These options add another dimension to the charter and make the yacht an excellent platform for swimming and watersports.
The De Antonio 42 is designed primarily as a day yacht rather than an overnight accommodation yacht. The brochure specifies that there is no guest accommodation for overnight sleeping, although one WC is available for guests throughout the day. Weekly-based charters are also possible without onboard accommodation, making her suitable for use as a shadow boat or as a yacht kept at guests' disposal during a longer stay.
Built in 2024, the De Antonio 42 brings together bold modern styling, extensive outdoor living areas and impressive performance. Whether cruising quickly between islands, enjoying lunch beneath the T-top, relaxing on the expansive sunbeds or diving into clear blue water from the stern, she offers an exciting and sophisticated setting for an unforgettable day at sea.
