It is a beautiful, quiet bay with a small beach, park and playground. The nearby historic military buildings and Clifton Gardens now house lively cafes and restaurants.
Parking: Public parking is available on Chowder Bay Road from $4 per hour. If you have a NPWS All Parks or Multi Parks Pass on your car, you can park for up to 4 hours free
Bottleshop: The closest liquor store is Vintage Cellars Mosman at 896 Military Road, Mosman 2088. Also BWS on 56 Avenue Road, Mosman
Convenience Store: There are no convenience stores nearby, however a short drive away is EzyMart Mosman at 45 Spit Road
Bars and Restaurants: The famous Ripples restaurant is right there on the wharf, overlooking scenic Chowder Bay

By Bus: There are no buses that go directly to Chowder Bay, but you could take the 100 line to Bradleys Head Rd after Ellamatta Rd, then walk approx 30 min down to Chowder Bay.
